NASHVILLE, Tenn (AP) - Rory Feek, husband and wife Joey and Rory country said his wife finished their cancer treatment for a recurrence of cancer.
Joey Feek had undergone surgery earlier this year to treat cervical cancer, which was treated with chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
But in a blog post on Friday, Rory Feek said a new analysis showed that the cancer had returned and spread of cancer also. A manager for the couple confirmed that they have completed treatment.
Feek writing that he had reached the end of what can make the medicine, and that his wife had returned home to spend time with his young daughter.

The couple won a prize at the Academy of Country Music for the top new vocal duo in 2010.
